Partnership proposal from Pyramid Business Express Ltd, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. We build homes with a factory-made light steel frame system that delivers finished homes faster and at a lower cost than traditional block construction — and we are looking for development partners to build them with us.
Ireland needs more homes, faster
- 36,284 new homes were completed in Ireland in 2025 (CSO)
- 50,500 homes a year are targeted — 303,000 by 2030
- That leaves Ireland about 14,000 homes short every year
Cost per m²: 29–47% lower than block
| Build method | Cost per m² |
|---|---|
| Block-built, Ireland (SCSI House Rebuilding Guide 2025, 3-bed semi, North West to Dublin) | €2,756 – €3,381 |
| Pyramid light steel frame, finished by the builder | €1,800 – €1,950 |
Built in days, not months
- The frame of a 100 m² house goes up in 2–5 days with a crew of 4–5
- 50%+ less building time than conventional methods
- A real 4-house, 620 m² project went from price estimate to finished frames in about 47 days
- Dry construction: no waiting for blocks to set or walls to dry
Why it costs less
- Cheaper labour: no highly skilled specialist trades needed
- Simple assembly: coded profiles screwed together from clear drawings
- Small crew, no crane
- Very little material waste
- Simpler wiring and plumbing through pre-punched studs
- Slimmer walls give more usable floor area

Already built in Ireland
A light steel frame home in the Irish Midlands was self-built by 2 people in 4 months, for €200,000 all-in — including the site, planning permission, architect and foundations. It is a single-storey home of about 170 m², with 2 bedrooms, 2 en-suites and open-plan living.

Partnership: more profit together
Lower build costs and shorter programmes mean better margins and a faster return on every site. We want to partner with developers and housing bodies so we both earn more from each home we deliver.
